Vacation Bible school
Each year during the summer months, when kids are out of school and sometimes "bored" many of our Churches offer fun and free learning experiences. Most of them last 3 to 5 days. Some meet in morning hours and others at night. All of them have the ultimate purpose of learning about Jesus in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Many of the participants each year find Jesus for the first time and accept Him as their Savior and Lord. Others grow in their knowledge of Him.
Vacation Bible school - training
While each of our churches choose their participation and theme, the Association sponsors training for all volunteers.
The Association Team attends a State sponsored training event in early spring in preparation for passing this training onto church volunteers in two sessions held in late spring. Many new and exciting ideas are offered each time these events occur. There is never a dull moment and everyone leaves with lots of prizes and a full tummy!
This Association Team
stands ready to help any church that wants to hold a VBS but might not
have adequate volunteers or finances.
